Song of The Goat TheatreActing Coordination Method
During October and November 2025 a group of seven international performers gathered under the guidance of Gregorz Bral to document his Acting Coordination Method. As a result they plublished a document that can serve as a tool for permormers, directors and artists of all kind that want to explore what Song of The Goat theatre company has been actively developing for over 25 years as acting training.
“The Advanced Coordination Acting Technique is a training system designed to elevate an actor’s physical expressiveness, rhythmic awareness, and technical control. In performance, the body is an instrument—capable of communicating intention, emotion, and energy before a single word is spoken. This program builds that instrument from the ground up.
Through a progression of rhythm, coordination, and stick coordination exercises, the actor develops a deeper connection between mind and movement. The goal is not only to refine physical skill, but to unlock a state of total awareness: where timing, gesture, and presence becomeinstinctual. By strengthening these foundations, actors learn to move with precision, spontaneity, and confidence—qualities essential to truthful and compelling performance in any medium.
This technique is accessible for performers of all levels, from beginners seeking structure to advanced actors looking to sharpen their craft. It encourages exploration, play, discipline, and a deeper physical understanding of oneself. Each exercise is grounded in practical application, helping actors build habits that translate seamlessly into rehearsal, staging, choreography, or improvisation.”
