I hold an MFA in Movement Directing and Teaching from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

I came to movement through music. As a violinist and performer, rhythm has always shaped the way I listen, create and relate to others, and it continues to sit at the centre of my practice. My work draws from acting, Aikido, Latin American traditional dances and psychophysical approaches influenced by Grotowski, but I’m most interested in what happens between people: how performers listen to one another, how trust is built, and how movement can become part of the way a story is collectively discovered.

In the rehearsal room, I value curiosity, clear communication and consent-based processes. I aim to create spaces where performers feel supported to take creative risks and where their embodied knowledge can actively shape the work. My practice is interdisciplinary, culturally responsive and informed by a feminist perspective, with a strong interest in movement and music as relational forces within performance.
